Hi, I really want to begin BJJ but I'm not as fit as I used to be.
Too many fry ups and cream cakes has left me with a bit of a spare tyre, and I was wondering what might I expect from my first BJJ class.
Don't get me wrong, I can run for a bus without having a stroke and I'm in pretty good health overall. I used to box so I know what a physically intense class is likely to involve.
I know that I need to get fitter, but it seems a little stupid to have to get fit just in order to attend classes. I'd far rather attend classes and use that to help both my fitness levels and give me an introduction to BJJ.
I'm in west london. Has anyone got any recommendations as to where would be suitable for me to start out at?
