MMA clubs near Falkirk

Hi people
Ive been intrested in cage fighting and martial arts for a while, trained a bit before i went to the military and then done a bit of boxing there. Ive attended a bunch of shows up here and was at the last cage Kombat show, watching that show i reckon i could do ok fighting in the cage.

Could anyone tell me if theres a club in or near Falkirk that trains fighters, i know there's a bunch of MMA clubs around with no fighters which is wierd also if im 80kg just now without training what weight would i fight at (im a carrying a little excess just now)

If your close to cumbernauld you should check out bam bams classes, still in the early days but he is surrounded about a lot of expeirence and is developing well as a coach

you're not training at all just now (i assume), so 2 nights a week is probably more than enough to start with...

Tommy you mention that you did a little martial arts before you went onto boxing , what arts where they ?

i trained in cumbernauld actually, 5 years of shoto budo under sensei Graham Muirhead, the club stopped when he moved to Ireland.
I was in your gym for a session a few years back willie, remember a couple guys where ok Jason something is he still fighting ?
Bambam where's your classes? what coaching qualifications do you have?

Small world, I used to do Shoto Budo in the club at Bishopbriggs, might have bumped into you at a course before

Wasnt into courses, if you ever trained at Grahams classes id have met you. Do you still train SB?

Only ever did a kata course at Grahams about 8 or 9 years ago. I left Shoto Budo about a year after I started doing BJJ, no longer held any interest for me and was fed up with the political side of things.
