Carlson's is excellent. Busy is all relative, I always find I get plenty of attention. Also bear in mind the number of coloured belts in a class since they will be able to teach you too (the gap between belts is much bigger than in TMA's) so if you get to roll with blues purples blacks etc it's almost like a private lesson. BTW the daytime classes are tiny.

Don't overthink the process of starting, just pile in. Everyone was/is extremely friendly and will help out - beginners (like me) get treated well.
This is one guy's description of starting at Carlson's: http://www.mmaunltd.com/feature-deta...-jiu-jitsu.htm It is a little exaggerated for sure, but a good read.
Best of Luck
That sounds great, although I'd wonder if in the back of the guys mind he's thinking "I don't pay all this money each month to teach, I pay to be taught"?
