What proportion of training should be strength/cardio
Since I've finally sorted out all my training arrangements, I'm just trying to work out how much time to spend on each aspect.
ATM per week I do(works out as 1 session on days I work, 2 on days I don't):
4-5 Sessions of Grappling(BJJ, Nogi, and a little wrestling)
3-4 Sessions of MT
1 session of Boxing
I do no additional strength or cardio beyond a few pull ups and clean and jerks at the end of some classes.
I want to improve strength mostly since I'm not very strong. I intend to do Olympic type lifts and squats, bench, pull ups etc. Will twice a week (I will cut one gi session and the boxing) be enough to make an improvement.
Do I need additional cardio or will the cardio from the sessions be enough.
