The Champions VI Cancelled

[The Champions]

It would appear that Cedar Court did not have the appropriate licence which would enable them to hold MMA Events. Unfortunately, due to this admin error coming to light at such short notice, there is no possibility of them obtaining one in time of our next event dated 11th July 2009.

It is therefore with great regret that we are forced to cancel the event until the matter has been resolved. The time scale given is approximately 6 to 8 weeks. Therefore there is a strong possibility that we will be able to honour the following show dated 12th September 2009.

I apologise for the inconvenience this will cause to the fighters, fight team, our staff and customers.

I will endeavour to call all those concerned and discuss the matter further.

I bumped into Khanie today and he told me this but I just laughed and waited for him to tell me that he was bullshitting, as to be fair he does do on a all too frequent basis... even when Pete said the same thing and they showed me a letter from the council I was still waiting to be told it was a wind-up.
