    can anyone tell me how the three experience categories are gonna be working please?

    Oh thank God there's gonna be an intermediate category...

    The jump from novice under 1 year to advanced - anyone over 1 year was huge!
    Coffee drinker, prefer Pepsi and I'm kind of a big deal.

    i can imagine, going from fighting white belts to world level black belts.

    yes, given enough in each division:
    beginners 1 yr and under
    intermediate 3yrs and under
    advanced over 3 yrs

    (any previous winners of the beginners division must compete in the intermediate division)
