Whereabouts are you going? A couple of guys from there come over to Portsmouth and train where I go.

the only place i can find is a place in shanklin on the island, no known mma classes as yet though
I've played rugby for the last 22 years...
and BJJ is the hardest cardio workout that i have EVER had.
I dunno, BJJ can be a VERY hard workout...but not if you're doing it "right", the aim of it is to use leverage and your opponents hard work and momentum to manipulate them; so if you're really good at it, you won't get much of a "workout".
I'm trying to make sense here, I'm mega tired; you all know what I mean
I dunno, doing it right still works you out when the other guy weighs double your weight. I weigh about 65 kilos and I regularly go against guys weighing 116 kilos. The only way I survive is because I am doing it right but it's hard work. When I go against guys my size then its much easier for sure.
Yes it is!
Great for cardio, flexibility, muscle endurance and much more interesting than going to the gym
I see the experienced guys where i train sweat just as much as the new guys, even though they can exploit the whole momentum/leverage deal better they are usually rolling with other experienced guys and so still need to work hard.
Anyone else noticed a lot of new guys hold their breath while trying to muscle things too much while rolling?
Anyway, the answer is yes, BJJ will wreck you.
wrecks me lol
