    And dont forget he was a Knight of the Realm
    even during his battle against Cancer Sir Bobby used to go into the bank where the wife works to draw cash he gave her a signed copy of his latest book. What a Gent

    We will never see the likes of again

    i actually feel almost emotional about this, cant imagine him saying a bad word about anyone , i know he had cancer for a few years so hopefully he is at peace.

    Listening to talksport today, great listening to the sportsworld praising the legend!

    gentleman, will be sorely missed!

    I'm totally devastated, but he can now rest in peace after his never ending battle with cancer.

    I was at the charity game and when I saw him it reminded me of my dad who deteriorated very rapidly after being diagnosed with motor neurone disease and I knew he only had days to live. Very sad to see, but very privileged to be there.

    I'll be going down to the stadium to give my respects. It's a very sad day, but we should all remember the memories we have of him. Very honest, great sense of humour down to earth and has time for everyone. Always positive, a true role model.

    RIP to a true legend, He always seemed to stay grounded with his success and next forgot the fans. He was always a fan of the game. top fella!
