    Default 5km Times (running)

In the spirit of the ocuana threads to stimulate a bit of competition I want to know what your 5km times are.

I did 5k on a treadmill for the first time today(haven't run for years) and did 23:58.

    I'm 5'10'' 70kg 18yo

I was sweating big time but I think I can shave at least thirty seconds off that by running harder from the start (I started slow and sped up) as I didn't feel completely spent.

doing 5k on a tredmill is not the same as doing 5k on road.

my time would be pretty dyer tho.

I've been away from the running for a long time but I might see how I fair this week instead of the cross trainer. I haven't had any new running shoes for a while but my old ones should fair okay on the treadmill. Big bulky flipn orange and silver things

My shin splints flared up today so i mostly did weights at the gym. but I did 3.25 km in 15mins (roughly 22min pace). Felt absolutely fine (apart from the shins) so gonna try for sub 22 on friday.
