if you got shin splints then stop hammering the treadmill! get down your local football pitch and get some fartlek training done. I never run fast on hard surfaces. All it'll do is mess up your knees. I sprint 100% on grass. Results are the same and more sport specific.

I am 96kg and 6,4" 2011 i did 5k in 18.58min and 10k 36.50min.
Now i don't know. But i am looking at get some good times in 400m and 100m in 2012.
