Thread: BJJ belts as fashion statement?

Default BJJ belts as fashion statement?

Hi guys, this belt thingy from Faixa Rua has got a lot of
admiring comments on the EFN forum, but should I only buy the belt that I am ranked at (blue)?
Because black is so much more complimentary to my day wear?
I feel a bit self conscious now wearing a black belt when I am not one in BJJ.

I think the faixa Rua Obi Michi Preta will compliment any outfit at any event. It would be a fashion faux pas for them to offer blue belt, a blue belt couldnt be warn with black slacks could it ?

get the black and enjoy. I am a big fan of Faixa Rua products

I would imagine he was probably between morning and afternoon training sessions, lying on his Board at the break off Leblon beach waiting for a big roller and pondering all things Jiu Jitsu.During this serene time i would imagine he wanted to find a solution to his baggy jeans falling off his backside, and at the same time thought of a way of showing any faggots on the street he is not a man to be messed with.

I got my Obi Michi last week and i'm wearing it with pride...................

I always find it amusing when straight guys talk fashion...especially when the words 'fashion faux pas' are used...

I reckon with the right outfit a blue belt would totally rock, especially with your figure Meerkat!

Personally I would feel weird wearing a BJJ black belt coz I'm a blue too but if you like it dude then get it...those TapOut wannabes ain't no match for your mad skills

Probably by watching an old man gauge his eyes out with a burning iron bar covered in pins which have been made extra sharp.
