I wouldn't think twice about breaking his arm in a streetfight. In fact, rather that than choke him out - just incase he doesn't wake up; or if he does wake up but still wants more. Popped elbows and shoulders mean he isn't likely going to want any more, at any point. Just an opinion though.
"Awww, so you lost darling - but it's the taking part that counts" My Mum... thanks for nothing Mum.
I was once on a police course (self defence type stuff) and I asked lots of questions about scenario's like this. Basically if somebody submit/gives up /asks you to stop and you then proceed to break something or lay down a beating, then this would be construed as torture and you would be in shit-loads of trouble. Obviously this is only really applicable if there is a witness.
Also it is worth noting that if you attack someone first then you better have a really good reason for doing so. In instances like that you need to be able to explain why you thought what you did would be reasonable, i.e able to succinctly explain how the other person was presenting and how you thought based upon certain signs that they were about to attack you.
People think there are no rules in streetfighting but you still need to act within the law.
I disagree - if my life or the life of a family member is in danger I won't think twice of 'Bahiana-ing' the fucker into the pavement, smashing his face in and choking him into unconscious.... If he gives me an arm I'll rip the fucker off and shove it up his arse.
As for the old-bill, remember unless there is CCTV, it's all about what's said rather than what actually happened, if you know what I mean...![]()
A guy from the club recently found his mate in town, covered in blood. When he asked what happened his mate told him he'd been punched in the face and pointed at the guy who did it (roider, what a surprise).
So the guy from the club immediately went over and floored him, took mount and started ground and pound. One of the roider's mates then ran up to boot him... he caught the guy's leg, dragged him down and armbarred him. Later saw the first guy covered in blood and the second guy with his t-shirt being used as a sling.
Nothing necessarily wrong with being in a ground fight 2 on 1. I can't see standing would be any more advantageous, depends which range you're best at fighting. People always say "Oh, his mate will put the boot in" but what is to say if you were standing up someone couldn't bottle you from behind?
I find a lot of people talk about streetfighting as if there is some best way, when the reality surely has to be that you are going to end up fighting on instinct and will get through it with a combination of skill, balls and luck.

I'd pull half guard.
Better safe than sorry on the streets.
