Default Coming off the streets to a class without invitation - Please advise

    Hi.

I'm scouting for a BJJ club in London and I've got a few options. I've tried making contact through emails and telephone to register my interest in attending their classes but it appears that they are too busy rolling on the mats to answer my queries:

Such is my interest in this discipline that I am planning to come into the clubs directly without prior invitation but am hesitant that this might be frowned upon.

    What does everyone think?

Just turn up mate, I'm sure any club would be fine with that. Most places will let you start training straight away too, if you want.

You can certainly just turn up at Carlson Gracie and train,or watch but i would advise training because watching is boring.

What sort of training gear should I come with - please note that I do not have a gi.

Simon, thanks for the invite - I have been keeping an eye on your team, as well.

    No, not really.

I was hoping that I could train in normal board shorts and a t-shirt. A gi, as soon as I could afford one.
