Salvia

I've been buying this stuff called salvia from a shop near me. It's a legal drug yet is very aggressive and literally rips you out of the real world and you experience strong halucinations and full on out of body experiences for about five minutes.

This has me wondering why it's legal? Maybe it's because it only lasts five minutes and is not addictive. It also has no serious side effects that I'm aware of, yet I am sometimes a bit confused and sluggish after the hit for about half an hour. and some of the out of body experiences and halucinations can be duisturbing due to how weird and inexplicable they are.

That said, to me it's a very interesting drug. I plan to keep smoking. However, what is the medical opinion on powerful halucinegenics like this? Obviuousl it only lasts for a very brief period of time and so can't be linked to LSD or mushrooms.

All drugs have been legal at some point.

I read today the Govt. are planning on making the current "legal" highs illegal. Salvia wasn't mentioned though.

I'm sure they'll clamp down on this soon. I had a bong of Salvia x25 and held it in for about 30 seconds as I was reading you had to hold it in for a bit online, and I was absolutely fucked by the time I got from my chair to my bed (which is 0-2 steps aways) for about 10-15 minutes. It was pretty disturbing at the time as it hit me much, much faster and more powerful than I expected so wasn't really ready for it, but also pretty damn cool. I remember writing whatever I could remember about it somewhere the next day, I'll see if I can remember where, it was weird as fuck.

PS: I remember reading in this legal high debate somewhere that Spice Gold was something like 25-50x more powerful than the grass going about.. NOT! It was pretty shit actually, I bought something like 3x300mg bags online to try it out, and they sent me 3x3g bags by mistake (!) and it was sub-standard

One of my mates once tried the "legal high" weed (I assume it was Spice). He said it was shit and just gave him a headache.

Pretty much, yeah... it was also sickeningly sweet & tough to smoke... at the price they charge, you're as well getting the genuine article

'I took a bong at the computer desk, held it in for a bit (dunno, 20-30 seconds or so seems good) and I was completely lost by the time I sat on my bed, which is about 1 foot away or so. The best description I can think of is that it's like acid mixed with poppers... there's an initial dizzying kick to it, things behind you sort of strip out of focus and the only things you can see and comprehend are the things directly infront of you. We both recalled a strange pulling sensation as though something was pulling/calling you to the other side of the room, which I think contributed to me trying to go through the living room. [Addition: My dad was through the living room & I tried to stand up and walk through]

There was a weird moment where I thought I was being asked to come out the room and I think catching a glance of my desktop [Forrest type pic] made me momentarily think I was outside. This is just going to get weirder so I feel a bit silly, but it felt like I was being waved over to come to a water-wheel type thing by some bright colourful character that reminded me of Tony the Tiger. As that sensation felt stronger, I got closer to the wheel & it felt like I was being stretched over it, going round, where every increment around the wheel was a different place... for example it felt like I was being dragged from my room to the street, which joined up with my pal pulling my arm to put me back on the bed, so I turned around in a bit of a panic thinking "man, wtf?" and like maybe I had been outside and that my dad, or for some reason, my manager had saw me like that or something had gone wrong.

I was snapping out of it a little bit by then so managed to convince myself to just lie down and embrace it, though it was still a bit weird. As the voices were returning and making sense, I was watching TV Burp and thought that Harry Hill was speaking to me lol. Every time I heard something it seemed to sync up to him, then as I thought "hm? what?" he stopped, when he looked to the side of the screen for a prop it seemed like it was my mate handing it to him (think he was just reaching for some water or something lol).'

I tried this stuff and thought it was crap. Its like going from a Ferrari *Weed* to a Mini Metro *Salvia*. Though i didnt Bong it i just rolled it up like a Joint and puffed away, I found the taste sickly.

Though its kinda reasonable affect when mixed with weed.
