I really fucking hate being average

I want to do something I can be passionate about or do something constructive where I can make a lot of money.



At the moment I just feel average/ordinary and I dont like it. Anyone else feel like this?

Nothing wrong with being average, as long as you got a bit of money for food and a roof over your head. All about where your priorities lie. The material path leads to nowhere.

I know what you mean WT, I'm like that, the only real passions I have are MMA, boxing, football and some other sports, unfortunately I'm none of those are realistic career paths for me. Hence why I made that 'University' thread, I have no clue what to do with my life!

It's not that simple.

I don't earn much, neither does my wife. Between us we do ok though, because I'm careful with our money.

I could earn much more if I took some exams and got a promotion in work. Three times as much, plus 1/4ly bonuses & company car. I have absolutely no desire to do this though, because it means working much longer hours and having serious pressure to hit targets.

I'm much happier living a simple, chilled out, life.
