    Default wind turbine mark 2

here is the second version of my diy wind turbine running in 5mph winds, pretty low for where we live, once I can build a suitable stator/magnet assembly i should be producing alot of power.

Good effort, how much power is it producing? I can see you're getting 12 volts but any idea on watts?

Dont know the wattage yet but wouldnt think it would be very good to be honest, but i am really into this , have got more powerful motors on their way from the USA (, I want to charge battery banks and then run a hot water system off either 1-2-3-4 12v batteries using 48v camping immersion heater elements.

It must also be said that i live on an acre with clear view NNE direction which really helps as that is where the wind comes from especially in the winter blimey its like the arctic circle

If you are interested keep an eye on my youtube videos.

Do not start with stuff like this as you will quickly become totally obsessed!!!

Stick your multimeter on to Amps and check the current (remember, it has to be in SERIES with your circuit). Then multiply amps (or probably milliamps) by volts
