I always seem to hover at 14 stone, cant really get passed it. So I decided to add a morning run, 2.25 miles in the morning, then my Martial arts training at night. See how i get on with that. One question i always have but no one seems to answer is, When is it too late to eat after training? i usually get home around 8.40 then have to cook dinner. Whate should i be having that late at night?
I've cut milk out completely for almost a year now. Lost about ten to fifteen pounds. Eating more red meat and carbs than ever. Prefer white rice because it digests easier, ate brown rice for like seven years solid and just got tired of it. The only benefit to it is that it digests more slowly. Saying that, I only have rice an hour or two before training/workout. Sweet potatoes/boiled potatoes and porridge oats are my main source of slow carbs
This is really good tips.
I like to forward this tips to my friends.

It really depends on your goal, whether it's to lose weight long term, or as a competitor to cut weight, I have to get my sons weight which usually sits at 72.5kg down to 61-63 kg for the 8th Sept.
1. In morning before breakfast.....5k run
2. Porridge (plain) for breakfast
3. Chicken salad for Lunch
4. Normalish dinner
5. Nothing apart from water after 8:30pm
Plenty of water, water makes a good appetite suppressant, helps to reduce cholesterol, The liver metabolizes fat and needs plenty of water to do this.

The main thing is to burn more calories than you consume, and ingest enough protein to keep muscle and loose fat.
