I'm the wrong person to give advice cos I don't get fat. But I have done dramatic weight loss and have done a fair amount of research. Its also worth nothing that eating healthy isn't the same thing as eating to lose weight
1) exercise has negligible effect. In fact, I gain weight when I work out a lot, cos I get hungrier. Cardio has fitness benefits and strength training builds a better muscle to fat ratio - not much point losing weight if you just end up skinny-fat
2) Stop eating crap. You know what crap is - 2a) stop making excuses
3) Get your carbs from fruit and veg, not bread and pasta
