    4. Less than 2,000 calories per day (unless you're tiny)
    5. Track your weight... weigh in the morning (naked, after a piss & shit) and weigh just before you go bed (naked, after a piss & shit).

EDIT: I've gone from 84/5kg at the start of the year (couldn't train much in 2008 due to injury) to 75kg at the moment just using the above. Regularly eating curry, chinese, McDonalds, cakes etc... just making sure I don't eat too much of it.

No need really, I just find drinking only water saves you from taking in pointless calories. Actually, anything 0 calorie is ok, doesn't have to be water.

Eat whatever you like in as large a quantity as you like, just make sure that you make yourself throw up afterwards.

I'm the wrong person to give advice cos I don't get fat. But I have done dramatic weight loss and have done a fair amount of research. Its also worth nothing that eating healthy isn't the same thing as eating to lose weight

    1) exercise has negligible effect. In fact, I gain weight when I work out a lot, cos I get hungrier. Cardio has fitness benefits and strength training builds a better muscle to fat ratio - not much point losing weight if you just end up skinny-fat

    2) Stop eating crap. You know what crap is - 2a) stop making excuses

    3) Get your carbs from fruit and veg, not bread and pasta

    No sugar
    No dairy
    No carbs
    No booze.

In short the key to weight loss, is to live the most miserable existance you possibly can.

Incorrect. I bet I am happier than many fatties. I also had 2 chicken legs and a kit kat for breakfast

If you want to get drunk, it makes more sense (from a weight loss point of view) to go for harder stuff - it can take a lot of calories to get drunk on beer

Sorry Leigh, I was summarizing the thread so far, not just your post.

Im on the "eat whatever you like in moderation" bandwagon, there is no way i could deny myself certain foods.
