Especially with the non rational reasoning of us women

I have begun making the right choices by not thinking about what I am missing out on but how it will help me achieve my goals in the longer term.

A good balance of protein, carbs and fats is key to fat loss. I hear some of you guys screaming at me FATS but not all fats are bad fats. By consuming good fats you will maintain strength and muscle and not experience the chronic lethargy you experience when you cut your carbs. Good fats combat bad fats and along with eating six regular balanced meals per day over an ideal period of around 12 weeks you will see significant weight loss without sacrificing muscle. We have just started stocking Tapout supplements all aimed at fighters and they have gotten their products spot on whether you are looking at muscle gain or fat loss. My 5 tips are-

1)6 small meals per day to keep your metabolism ticking over.
2)Up your good fats when cutting back on carbs.
3)Drink plenty of water. Around 80% of muscle volume is water retention.
4)Eat carbs that are low Gi which are good for energy and slow digesting .Lower the amounts towards the end of the day.
5)Eat plenty of fibrous carbs and protein to keep the hunger pangs at bay.

    I hope this helps...

    Efa,Omegas 3,6,9. Use a blend like Udos choicehttp://www.bodyactive-online.co.uk/Shopping/PdUdo-UdoChoice.asp

I have a lot of customers ask about fat loss but arent willing to change their diets drastically the advice i always give is to change all white foods to brown ie.bread, pasta, rice etc. The body uses wholegrains for energy and fat storage from these foods is minimal.

    Hi!

Do you not consider saturated fat to be a good fat?

If you do, from what sources do you consider it good?

    And if you don't, why?

    Moving the discussion along,

    Smiler
