    No it didn't. Okinawan Karateka were influenced and taught by Chinese Kung Fu guys, some karateka actually trained at the Fukien Shaolin Temple if I'm not mistaken, and obviously Shaolin Kung Fu was developed mainly by the Indian Monk Bodhidharma. But that doesn't mean Karate originated from India.
