Potential event issues

Hi all, as has been communicated the fighters hive show was cancelled due to a licensing issue. I was personally hurt and disappointed to have to let both fighters and fans down, as the event was sure to be great entertainment for the fans and also a great opportunity for the fighters to demonstrate their skills.

I have inserted the licensing article that both i and the venue owners wrongly believed would be adequate justification for holding the event, highlighting the fact that the venue was to be a nightclub which already has a Public entertainment license.

An indoor sports entertainment license is not required: -
On any occasion on which the entertainment of the public by sport is not the principle purpose for which the premises are being used but this provision does not apply in relation to a sports complex.

MMA is our passion at Fighters Hive, as such the development and recognition of the sport in this country is of paramount importance to us. Please again accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused.

i really hope that Ashe moves the show to another venue now.

they are good guys at fighters hive but i feel the venue was too small at the last event.

shame its been cancelled.

hopefully the fights and show can go ahead in another venue, i could only imagine the work that goes into organising a venue and fighters.
would be a bummer if the show didnt go ahead as both the fighters and the organisers would have been working/training their ass of for this to happen for all us wanting to see it
