Cool. Don't suppose there's any semi Pro fights (no limb breaks?).

I think this is what UK MMA needs. Not sure about 5 x 1 min rounds though. Could get boring for the crowd. 30 second rounds would be better or ideally ten second bursts of fighting. This would nullify the fitness aspect- giving real fighters a chance rather than the toned freaks who dominate at the moment.

Doesn't matter what weight you are, there are not going to be weightclasses.

Do you have the addition of hairpulling and scratching for women's divisions?

    Thanks for some serious input.

10 x 30secs does sound good and has been considered. However, my worry is, does 30secs give enough time for a limb break?

Hmmm, this is interesting. Women will be accepted to fight (and can fight men if they want) and to hear that you are willing to go to such lengths to win a fight is encouraging indeed.

The full rules will be published shortly, but I feel hairpulling will slow the fight down... the crowd want to see brutality not a lame impression of Nikki Clarke. Scratching is ok, but could lead to an accidental eye gouge and I don't want this event to be thought of as cock-fighting etc.
