Whats the difference between Back Grab and Back Mount?

I think back mount is the top picture without hooks in. So basically the mount position but with them face down.

Back grab isn't a term I've seen used consistently but I think it generally means the same as back control (the bottom pic you have posted).


EDIT: I've never concerned myself too much with the names of positions etc though, so someone else can probably give you a better answer.

i wasnt too familiar with the scoring system of BJJ so i looked it up and it has this definition of it. i think the difference might be body control. i think both of them score 4 points

I haven't heard of back grab before? Is this quite a recent term or one that has just passed me by? Both to me are having the back, the second picture using a harness grip.

Before I read that bit I was gonna say that maybe by a back grab they meant back control with no hooks, obviously not!
