Gumshield Cleaning

Hi all,

Someone mentioned cleaning gum shields with dettol the other day, what strength and how often?

I just brush it with a touthbrush and soak it in it's case in listerene over night. I haven't died yet.

Soak it in anti-bacterial Denture cleaner for 15 minutes, brush (without tooth paste) and rinse.

Just wipe it on your shorts and stick it back in its gungy case. Simples.

I use dissolving anti bac stuff like retainer bright, or opro do their own version specifically for gumshields. every time I use it I clean it with a toothbrush then soak it in this.

I stick mine in water and add some bicarb, seems to work ok.

it WILL taste of dettol forever if you soak it in it. believe me

i got my gumsheild out my bag the other day still had blood in it from my fight 4 months ago lool.
