Wouldn't you have to already have a gum disease in order to infect your own mouthguard?...or do you "share" mouthguards? cause, you know, that's messed up

I just swill mine under the tap. Never had any problems.

I'd think the denture cleaning tabs may be a bit harsh on the rubber, like. Seeing as they're designed to melt crap off a prosthetic tooth.

I'd try a mix of mouthwash and water, perhaps; get a minty flavour too

Nah, it's fine. The stuff nowadays is made for the clear plastic retainers as well, which I wear. I use Efferdent- but I'm not sure if that's marketed in the UK. I got the denture cleaner advice straight from a dentist. But you should at the LEAST wipe it off on your shorts, instead of just leaving blood on them.
