VALE TUDO in Portugal
VALE TUDO - Portuguese term used by fighters who challenge themselves to do full contact combats, no rules, no limit, in order to prove that the most efficient, very popular in Brazil. VALE TUDO gained popularity as a sport with consecutive victories of Brazilian Royce Gracie at sporting events, with the creation of the UFC, kofc, StrikeForce in USA, IVC in Brazil, the grand VALE TUDO event “PRIDE" in Japan and M-1 in Russia, with great fighters highlighting the unbeatable Russian Fedor Emelianenko.
In Portugal, the VALE TUDO began by action of the Master Fernando Loio with the founding of the Association WUFC in 1988, was among the first promoters VALE TUDO in Europe, held in Viseu Feira de São Mateus, Fontelo and São Pedro do Sul, attended by the first athletes from Portugal and from France, Morocco, England, Ukraine and Russia: Rojda Malle, Fabien Lazon, Driss Elbak, Vincent Colli, Francisco Polycarp Fernando Loio, Stephane Swirog, Patrick Lebreton, Mike Gregory, Paulo Almeida, Hugo Augusto, Fernando Soares, Celso Costa, Tomyshynets Mykhaylo, Chimanskt Ruslan.
The introduction and popularity of VALE TUDO in Portugal, is mainly due to the charismatic WUFC World Ultimate Full Contact Championship that AFCV held annually since 1988 in the Fair S. Mateus, where they have participated in thousands of athletes from around the world, renowned fighters as Kalabekov Maratbek, Tashuev Rustam, Sergey Kornev (finalist M-1 2009), Sultanov Ahmet (finalist M-1 2009), Ashugyan Andranik, Bektemirov Aslan, Magomedov Shamil, Boulvin Ludo, Potapov Roman, Pekov Marat, Bektemirov Medzid, Rafael Silva, Antonio Rubens, Martin Lavin, Ricky Elie, Liezhniev Andrii, Nicolas Bertolo, Franck Rizzo, Kinslow Carl, Michal Harmsmid among many others.
Now greatly expanded worldwide, the Vale Tudo is a combat sport with rules rather restricted enough to preserve the physical integrity of the fighters, very broad in technical-tactical system with a very own preparation and development of very complex due to the requirement fights. There are also rules VALE TUDO suited to younger, due to the accession of the sport, allowing them to practice in the initiation of VALE TUDO, where in the World to highlight the young athletes Óscar Nave, Albazi Amire, André Batista, Murmagomedov Said, Tanshyn Artem, Gadzhi Hanipaev, Pavlush Anton, Magomedkerimov Magomede and Kylish Pavlo
