Thread: Is Freeman Too Old?

    Default Is Freeman Too Old?

To make serious run at top UFC contenders no?

Personally I like Ian and think it would be a great comeback story and all... but hes approaching 50. Couture is a genetic exception. I'm kinda shocked that you nutlickers think he would crush Couture or Vera.

Really this is a young man's game so I don't think it's so much Ian isn't talented or experienced, but a lifetime of injuries and all must add up?

MMA is a shit deal for aging.... it'd be nice to be able to seat oneself on the can when your 60 and 70.

It isn't so much the years, it's more the miles on the clock.

How many real wars has he been in?

    I don't think he's too old.

Well I seen Ian at a motorway services on the M62 the other week, my son says to me as Ian walked by, "that looks like your mate from up North but skinnier", I said yeh he does a little, then bugger me it was Ian. He looks very fit. I wouldn't be surprised to see him fight again.

Hopefully ians arm is back to full strength too.

I still think he has enough in him and enough drive to push some of the best and give them one hell of a fight.

We all want him to come back

but hes nearly 50...he'll never be a force at the top again. The success of 105 has probably got his hungar back...I think he needs to stay retired and realise that his legacy in UK MMA is firmly sealed.

Ian is early 40's and in great shape. He runs his fight team so is always training and I am sure he would give a lot of people trouble in the cage.

He has lost a lot of bulk due to running about 40 miles per week.

I am sure he could make 185 and tear the division up.
