Ash Grimshaw: It's gonna be a great showcase for UK MMA

We caught up with Team Titan featherweight Ash Grimshaw to get his side of things in preparation for the Bushido Challenge featherweight title bout against Dave Lee this weekend.

Grimshaw is confident and expects it to be a barn burner!

Whilst the accolade of featherweight champion isn’t one Grimshaw will shirk, he admits that it is the challenge that presents itself that means the most.

“Dave Lee is a huge name and an extremely credible opponent,” he stated. “I hope he’s taking me as seriously as I’m taking him!”

Assessing his opponent’s skill set, Ash also offered how he believes this will see the fight play out.

“I know Dave is very good on the ground. He’s a BJJ brown belt. He’s solid. I think it’s going to be old-school, like me wanting to keep it standing and him wanting to take it down.”

I think Ash can live with Dave Lee on the floor also tbh, he has a solid ground game and I see this going a similar way to Lee vs Pickett if it hits the deck and Ash takes this standing up.
