    I went over to Rio with work and got to train a few times. I found that their standard of belt was lower than ours. I was tapping and dominating people with higher belts than myself. Something i rarely did here before i went.

    And yes they were mainly rich kids!

    As irrational as it may be, that really disappoints me.

    I wanted to hear that BJJ is practiced in the favellas by people who are generally regarded as the dreggs of society.

    That reminds me, I must watch 'City of God' again. It's been too long.

    From what I gathered, poorer people tend to gravitate towards football and capoeira in those areas.
