ah man....i go training for a few hours and miss everything, am not gonna train anymore, just sit here with me popcorn.
Personally, as someone who trains and competes, and has an interest in the sport. I like seeing the offers from the brands. Granted. CW might want paying for some advertising. But really, thats a false economy, as for me. I dont read the front page, just straight to the forums. Am sure that would be a pretty high percentage, from what i can gather from the CW Advertsing Pack.
Perhaps just have a section for MMA Shops? (charge a monthly fee to have brands access and post?) and let the price battle commence. afterall cometition is healthy. and the offers help the MMA community too. Isnt that were all about? being a community and helping each other out? or are we really just after cashing in on stuff.
CKA martial arts help fighters, as do GnP and Like2Fight, and anaconda are new and am sure would be more than happy to help out too. Giving away free kit etc. Its good for the sport.
From what i can gather, L2F got a raw deal, if others post of the same nature are still active? - From what i can gather from this thread mind.
Swings n round abouts i suppose.
I don't believe in belts. There should be no ranking system for toughness.
I just think that would probably be fairer and save on any arguing, be easier to moderate perhaps?, a flat fee of lets say £20 a month? they can post their offers, fans and fighters get great deals, CW have some cash.
Happy days!
and then everyone joins my fight club! ha!![]()

I got no warnings just to make that clear...
to be I dont see no different between a shop or manufacture posting than it is to a show promotion owner or another blog / mma site.
If we got to pay because we profit from it then why dont
1. The various promotions that post here pay as they benefit from ticket sales.
2. The various mma sites etc that post here as they benefit from traffic and increase viewings.
I see no difference between a shop / e-tailor / manufacture or any of those other business.
Yeah I've posted in the for sales section and my posts have been deleted, other stuff gets "under the radar" then fine the rules say no posting in the for sales section as far as i read them!
I really don't see what the problem is!
What if people start to post on here how great CKA, Razorstorm, GNP and the rest are with links to the offer "i just got" are you going to stop those kind of posts as well? As its the same as us posting.
If so this is no longer a forum! If not I fail to see why we can't post in the first place...
