Hmm... surely not? They may want him in because Frye v Takiyama will be featured on the Best of Pride shows they're putting on, and half the audience will cum their pants when watching it & be excited about seeing him back. It's also true that there are 2 guys older than him that are doing OK against top competition**.

    BUT..

    C'mon...

[though Frye hasn't beaten anyone particularly good since Gilbert Yvel in 2001 & that was by DQ & no disrespect to a legend, but him, Goodridge & Shamrock seem like his only good wins anyway.. not exactly inspiring me to think he can make a quick run of it..]

Shall wait for official confirmation first lol, who'd he fight anyway!?

Thing is, that was just one fight. Don Frye was quality back in the old UFCs and he's a no nonsense no bullshit fighter. They bought back Tank so why not Don Frye. I reckon he should duke it out with Kimbo, that'd be well good.

A fight with Kimbo could be good tbh, but that's the only fight where he might be even half-way competitive at this point imo. Dave Herman took the piss out of him & I can't think of many fighters in the UFC's HW division (if any) that Herman could beat.

Kimbo's a good shout. He could fight Couture,Coleman or Cro Cop.

Theres also apparantley been rumours that he could be James Toney's opponent if they sign him.

Crazy stuff if it's true. Not sure whether to believe it or not though until somewhere like MMAJunkie or UFC themselves report it.

Dog the Bounty Hunter's bodyguard smacked up Frye, I can't imagine what a HW champion boxer might do to him, or Cro Cop.. that would be sheer brutality. KO within 30 seconds in both fights imo.

I don't think Dana will let Tony fight will he? The guy talks so much shit (about mauling Arlovski, mastering the side check kick, training with 'death fighters' etc) that he'd lose all moral high ground for when he's ripping the piss out of other orgs for signing """"freak show"""" fights

I see him against James Toney, any other fights are pointless

    Toney was hilarious.

Dana:Have you ever been kicked in the leg?Do you know how to check kicks?
Toney:I know all that shit man.Check kick...er...side check kick.I can do all that shit.

    Or something like that.

I agree though Toney would most likely demolish Frye.I still cringe remembering the brutal KO Jerome Le Banner dealt him in Pride.Frye could always go back to his wrestling roots which I doubt Toney would have an answer for.

Cro Cop would also most likely beat him but maybe UFC are just looking to use Frye as a name to feed to someone who needs a win.

Fucking prick.....the guy who wrote the article has posted in the comments section that the article was all 'satire'.

Seriously what was the point of writing the article and making up fake quotes to back it up just for a joke.

My thread has just commited suicide
