Unusual grappling styles

Just been watching some vids on youtube of Ryan Hall. This guy has a very interesting style that seems to work for him. I find it annoying to watch as he just drops to his arse, he doesn't seem interested in the conventional takedowns.

Which other bjj players would you say have an unusual style?

Interestingly, Ryan Hall has recently given an interview where he said he feels his old style was ultimately pointless. He said stuff like that works when you're much better than your opponents but at top level it is mainly solid basics which win fights. He said he is looking at dominating fights from the top position from now on.

Ryan Hall: Everything Has Changed

Interesting interview. And I agree with a lot of it. BUT, he's still smashing people with that game at events like Grapplers Quest. And he must've been doing something right as achievments like over 200 wins by triangle, tapping out multiple black belts, winning an ADCC qualifier against a good BB then coming 3rd at the next ADCC are not to be sniffed at!

Roleta was doing the Ryan hall thing years ago!
Roleta has a SERIOUSLY unorthodox style ( not suited to some ) but its defo worth a look at Roleta's crazy spider is insaine lol! 7 point start to submission in like 2 moves lol

A TRUE patron of his style is Fernando Fidalgo his much younger cousin ( roleta trained from a very young age! )
