You can only officially buy them on o2, but a mate of mine has one and cracked it and uses it on his t-mobile account.
Of course it invalidates your warranty, but a different mate has a legitimate one and his broke within 12 months and neither apple or carephone warehouse would fix it, so he had to shell out 200 quid to get it fixed.
Anyone know the best place to get an Iphone 3GS 32GB ?
Tesco's do it for £538 and ebay they seem to be £480(ish) but I'd prefer new if poss and less than £500.

buy one jailbroken and unlocked on ebay no bother i had the original from day one jailbroken then unlocked it when the contract ran out shite tho cause if you dont get a tarriff with 3g it renders the iphone pointless unless you use the wifi im going to get the 3g when my new contract runs out i think but i love my original one with the metal case much better !!!

I got 3GS as a present and it was brand new sealed and unlocked to any network. Not sure where it was from though. I think Orange, 02, T-mobile are the networks that do them.
