Which gi to buy?

ok, I have a related question.
I am starting BJJ soon and will definitely sticking to it long term so I'll want to buy a decent Gi. It's going to be Gracie Barra and I notice students usually have the GB logo on the back. How much am I likely to be paying for a GB Gi?

I ask mainly because I get trade price from Blitz but my only choices are a plain trad JJ Gi, a "competition BJJ" Gi plastered with sponsor patches (which I imagine is unacceptable) or a heavyweight Judo Gi.

Don't buy a GB gi online, they are hugely marked up most places.

Speak to him then mate, Braulio sells GB gis and they're much cheaper than buying them online.

I have an old Judo Gi I can wear for the first session, although it's gone a bit yellow after 10 years in a wardrobe

you are not obligated as far as i know t wear a gracie barra gi
the blitz bjj gi is excellnt value mate. about 60% of my guys have them and we have not had any probs
