That was the first fight that came into my mind as I read this. Kongo vs Mus should get an honorary mention for brutality, but Kongo isn't one of the best at it.

GSP has amazing control from inside the guard. Brock Lesnar did a good job in smashing Frank Mir's face up in the second fight.

Agreed, Fedor also obviously, I thought GSP's best display of GnP was against sherk. Diego also deserves a mention he smashed nick diaz from his guard amongst others he also destroyed ADCC european champion david bielkheden in a round with GnP.

I'd have to go with GSP on this one, he's a master at takedowns and controling his opponent on the ground.

Who is technically the best then? Is GnP from guard like fedor more effective than GSPs Pound and Pass style?? Bj penns style is very effective also he just unloads, eg UFC in newcastle vs Stevenson, that was awesome.
