I asked Rhadi on the Judo forum.

He says he is 5-8 1/4 inches.

Is there any particular reason why you think this?

if you mean at adcc 2005, no he didn't, he lost the match for one thing.

they were teammates/training partners then in any case.

only people under 6 ft would tack on 1/4 or 1/2 inch at the end.

like when you were a kid and say oh i'm 5 and 3/4 years old.

Maybe they had met somewhere else, I saw a video where Monson was saying he's never been dominated like that and they showed Rhadi tossing him around in competition.

no doubt Rhadi's grappling is very good, but monson, as a 2 time ADCC winner can afford to be generous in his comments to someone who isn't.

Well at 5-8 205 or 185 he would have a really short, compact/muscular/stocky build. Guys like that Mark Hunt (5-10 280 lbs), Fujita (5-11 240 lbs), Thiago Alves 5-8 170 lbs). Those people have had harder chins, and have seemed harder to KO in their prime. Probably a combination of a more muscular neck, bigger bone density, stronger base and a bigger head. I think it was Fujita who in his prime, Doctors discovered that his skull thickness was something like 3 cm (not sure what the exact number was) more than then the normal human being).

Compare that to a tall, lanky guy with a small head and small jaw like Mike Swick, Kendall Grove who seems to get rocked alot more easily when hit in the head.
