    Default Funny shit...

Submissions 101, a never ending source of amusement. Quotes are from posters in this thread; http://www.brazilianjiujitsugear.com...ead.php?t=8308

"I think having the advanced stuff in your bag of goodies is a great thing to have... ...But, what do I know? I've been submitted in every tourny I've ever been in lol."

"What's basic for Ari may be complex for me." - Ari Bolden is a blue belt!!

"Twister might be totally basic for Eddie B, but for a guy who has been training just GJJ for equal amount of time Eddie has been training BJJ/10P, it would be advanced/fancy/complex."

"Yes, the basics are all you need. In a way, Eddie was a fluke. But he was a well thought out, premeditated, and meticulous fluke whose 4 years of highschool wrestling and how many years of BJJ? defeated a lifetime of BJJ experience." - People seem to be remembering the Royler Gracie fight differently to me... I didn't see any twister stuff (from HS wrestling) and no rubber guard other than standard high guard stuff ala Schembri etc.

The whole forum is a mine of absolute comedy gems.

"I like Mary Had a Little Lamb but sure as hell enjoy listening to Beethoven's 9th Symphony more.

    That's just me."

Wtf eddie bravo and beethoven go hand in hand lol?!? Awesome analogy Ari.

"And how do us normal civilians approach victory over god chosen BJJ gods who from the age of 2 have been training in the "basics"?"
The same way guys like gunnar nelson, bj penn and jacare beat them starting around the ages of 17.

bear in mind most of these guys are white belts, at never a point will come where i refer to myself in any of these ways "I'm the guy that or i'm insane at" If i do i deserve to get an ass kicking.

You can tell it's all white belts posting on that forum because they all talk as if learning more techniques is what makes people into the top grapplers.

i would have thought a handful of well executed techniques would be better than a load of exotic bollocks that has more chance in you pooing diamonds than pulling off
