Don't put your hands on the mat, keep your elbows tight to his hips and re-pummel every time he tries to over hook, keep posture.

If you hands are on their chest close grip bench press your way out
Hard and fast, try to blow that fuckers knee out, thatll teach him for listening to a hippie stoner!!!
You're going about it the wrong way, you need to prevent getting into those positions (I am not sure on the naming but assume they are both when your posture is broken) before looking to pass.
If they have broken your posture, look for one of two positions...
1. your hands controlling each of their biceps
2. your elbows tight to their hips with hands on their abdomen/lower chest
From either of those you need to posture up. Keep your head up, maintain pressure with your arms (keeping them flat to the floor) and engage your back and hips to sit upright. Now try to open the guard and pass from there.

Just do what I do and wait till they let it go (and refrain from putting your hand on the floor). Should never do this anyway. Put hands on their biceps to control their arms or just keep your arms tight but I presume you know that anyway cos that's basics.
Laugh at anyone doing it then smash them?
There is basically no way out, that's why Eddie's guys dominate all the sub grappling comps.
