    Default Attention Boro People.

Looking for a placement for business admin, places like solicitors, estate agents, schools, other place that might need business admin people.

Anyone have any ideas? i've been ringing places all day.

Need to find one so I can start my apprentiship training.

Thanx - if i see any jobs going, for example admin jobs 17k a year.

If i ring them up and ask if i can do it and will work for free, for a couple of days a week reckon they will?

As I work for free on EMA, until qualified to move onto a wage.

(Edit : I keep geting told " sorry we only recruite people qualified looking for a job")

this is harder than i thought....

Christ, admin jobs available with a 17K a year wage packet in Middlesborough?! lol... good luck, (maybe they have 'em in London though). I think even if there were jobs going with that kinda wage you'd probably need fairly good qualifications (at least up to A Level Standard).

Have you checked the EMA website or spoken to them about getting help with placement? they might be able to point you in the right direction.

Whilst you efforts should be applauded, the problem is they still have to find time to train/coach you - especially if you have no similar experience or qualifications (I know it's catch 22 as you need a job to gain experience).

With some companies cut to the bare bone some just don't have time to do this.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm, I'll do some digging Jono, Groundwork (who I work for run an employment programme for people your age in Durham, we have offices in Boro so might do it there too) I'll ask and find out, its 20 hours a week minimum wage but guaranteed work and they put you through GNVQs and stuff too
