Okay i'm back... that was the most shittest day of my life..

got told of twice, ounce for saying "cya mate" on the phone (there all posh snobby cunts)

And ounce coz some guy rang raging about solicitor stuff, and i was like just yeh mate, yeh yeh np mate" put phone down and then had no information for the other people!


Kept getting phone calls about stuff i had no idea about so i ended up putting the phone down on them hahahaha. There fault for putting me on the phone when i obv know fuck all about solicitor stuff!

Its not being snobby, its called being proffesional. Clients dont want to be told cya mate! when they are paying upwards of £100 per hour for advice!

and if you dont know the answer to a question, put them on hold and find out who to put them through to. Your a receptionist not a solicitor, your not expected or allowed to give legal advice!

Well... it's well hard, when you get them chatting to you, then the staff asking me what they should do.

I was expecting a nice computer, do abit of typing filing, maybe answer 1 or 2 calls.

Not sit from 9-4pm answering the phone writing down bullshit pretending im well interested in soliciting! If I wanted to answer calls and do nothing else I would of applied to a call centre.

I hate when people call me "mate". A guy i'd just employed called me mate on his first day and I told him that if he ever did it again he would be collecting his P45. I especially hate it when people i've never met before call me mate. I've never fucking met them, how can I be their mate?

I don't think what you're doing is called "soliciting" unless you came home with a bleeding arse hole, you've not been "soliciting".
