Your only as good as your last roll the rest is bullshido.I think you should roll with everyone blue belt and higher.Earn your stripes and be prepared to roll with everyone.Jujitsu is an art of refinement which can be practiced on most people.Ask the question how many black belts can tap a good blue with a certain sub of choice the answer wont be many and the ones that say yes,can will be the ones who roll with everyone.

Just out of interest, what belt are you and how many black belts have you rolled with?

Paul Kelly is a brown belt under myself and Braulio. He trains regularly with us. Paul keeps a low profile and does nt need to be recognised by the BJJ Police to be given the approval to teach in BJJ.

He runs a very successful club in the Birmingham area, where I also teach every week.

Paul is a reknown martial artist and is also an instructor under Rick Young and Dan Insoanto in Jeet Kune Do/ Kali.

Any problems with any of our instructors credentials, call me.

two, by i thought your own admission, Ajaz was given a stripe on his brown by your own instructor, who cares who he rolls with, your instructor seems to rate him?

impossible to comment on individual situations but the notion of rolliing only during privates or with higher belts is ridiculous. I have a lot of private lessons but need to spar all the time with lower belts to execute techniques that I'm going to struggle to execute on a guy who's been a black belt longer than I've been training

I am also a blue belt [ given to me many years ago by Braulio himself ] and I was never known to be a "gi man" - will you question my credentials as a grappler ? or Braulio for giving it to me ?
