Bandwagon Jumping of MMA/Cage fighting/ Ultimate Fighting or whatever these clubs call it is a disgrace.

If your a kickboxing club or whatever teach what you teach, dont try disallusion punters by offering "cagefighting" classes then teach watered down garbage.

I thought MMA gyms would bring the end of McDojos giving blackbelts to 14yr olds after "sparring" vs two opponents. Greenock Telegraph always has TKD/ kickboxing or karate in it with this kinda of rubbish.

But obviously McDojos all over are now offering MMA. All that will do is give false security to people shelling out tons of money to some douche bag, thinking they are able to fight off two attackers cos theyr a James Watson Mix of Martial Arts 10 degree Black belt.

Its always gonna happen innit,their defense of this will be that the term MMA covers a lot of things... mixed martial arts which is what these places are indeed offering ie a mixture of arts combined,so their play on words may indeed be to cash in which is out of order itself....... but to say it will get you 'cage ready' etc is just ridiculous :/

Lets get back to the days of real MMA i say....karate vs wrestler ...YAHHHH!!
