"US Muslim group warns creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker they could 'wind up like Van Gogh' for depiction of prophet"

"Van Gogh, a Dutch filmmaker who was stabbed to death in 2004 by an Islamic militant"

Just sick of it all now, they say they are religious yet go around killing people - surely thats not in their religious teachings.

I mean how many times does Jesus show up in that programme. Its just a laugh isnt it!!

I heard they tried to ban PEPPA PIG recently

"Muslim extremists have banned Peppa Pig dolls from a shopping centre claiming the children's cartoon character breaks Islamic laws.

Hardline religious leaders told shopkeepers in Sarajevo, Bosnia-Herzegovina, that because the dolls were based on pigs they breached muslim food laws which ban pork, reports local news website Bljesak.info.

Muslim leaders have denied trying to impose sharia law on the shopping centre but have already managed to ban alcohol and pork from all restaurants."

this is a sad, sad day for me. People are threatening to kill other people over a fictional character.

Meh we dont live in the middle ages anymore, who cares if its in a show really. South Park will always get one over them in my opinion its just how they work!

Those sorts of statements by the Muslim group above will just spur on more gimmick episodes or characters.

South Park does what they want to who they want!

    WAR SOUTH PARK.

Part of the blame has to fall with most Govt's, they have always pandered to religious beliefs and given them special treatment.

Pathetic that any individual could feel they need to kill (or just attack) somebody over an issue like this.

on another religion related note: are most shops shut on sundays due to religious laws?

if true I'm not happy. when you want a tub of ben and jerrys or cookies and muffins on a sunday night all supermarkets are shut. I cant eat sugar rich foods because of what other people belive in.

I was once in WHSmiths on a Sunday and some guy was giving two young female staff members a hard time because they open on Sundays. Obviously as staff they had to be polite to him, but fortunately I didn't so I pointed out to him that he was fat, short and old. He wasn't particularly impressed with my observations tbh.
