Default AMMA Saturday 10th July 2010 - Fight Card

The UK's leading Amateur MMA promotion land yet again at their adopted home of Walsall Football Club on Saturday 10th July 2010. Many of todays popular names have passed through the AMMA ranks on their journey toward the top of the UK in their respective weight and professional careers - Dave Hill, Linton Vassell, Eugene Fadiaro, Dan Korbely, James Saville to name but a few.

The UK's leading lights in the amateur scene showcase themselves once more along with the usual round of B Class pro matches, in particular two very established stalwarts of the UK scene make their long awaited comebacks in a facinating Welterweight clash. Richard Shore v Stuart Barrs.

Making an anticipated return is the future of MMA in British junior wrestling champion Ibby Khan following from his spectacular headkick knockout in his last AMMA outing - its not hard to see why there was such a buzz surrounding this kid.

Polish powerhouse Tomasz Marsalek puts it on the line against hard hitting Welshman Gareth Williams with the Light heavyweight title on the line.

Unbeaten hot prospect Tom Breese make his final mark as an amateur battling the equally touted Leon DeGuadio for the coveted Welterweight AMMA Title.

Top of the bill returns Andy Stone looking to defend his AMMA Welterweight B Class professional strap against ex GB Judo member Anthony Johnson.

AMMA Fighting Championships Saturday 10th July 2010.

no one achieved anything by doing nothing

    never argue with a fool

if fighting is a pursuit rooted in pain, you will find the best teachers have often absorbed the most punishment themselves......and remained standing
