but the point still stands, what does it matter?
if we have claimed the islands, wrong or right, and no one can prove or take it from us, then it doesnt matter where in the world it is, it's ours. and we have agressivly claimed this for a long long time.
Argentina will not do anything more than winge and moan about this. they have already tried to take the islands and we responded in what America claimed was "a military imposibility" for us to get back. and we did it with not even the amount of military that is now stationed and protecting the islands now.
and as someone said already, Argentina's army is pretty much the same it was 28 years ago whilst we have advanced 10 fold. and we was able to even fly our jets often into argentina under their radar to prove a point to them that we could come and go as we pleased in their country, and their was nothing they could do about this.
now we have jets like the eurofighter, which is prob the best in the world right now. they still have crossbows
