    Exclamation Men's Health Power Training or Cardio Strength Training???

    Which is book better to buy i done a few workouts from power training and its good but im not sure if it features any cardio routines http://www.amazon.co.uk/MENS-HEALTH-.../ref=pd_cp_b_2

    but the cardio strength book really interests me because i want to build my strength and cardio at the same time heres book

    not really a fan of men's health, information contradicts from one page to next and descriptions and instructions never marry up with images used

    Mens health is borderline gay, it is a white middle class magazine for office bods. Just my opinion.

    alot of hate for mens health lol i never read anythin of their mags or books but i did a few workouts out of power training by somethin remedos and he had really interestin concepts mainly about exercises that used your whole body rather then isloated movements like curls etc etc im not trying to be a body builder i just want an increase in athletic performance and ill have look at them books bluerabbit recommended

    I'm doing this until i can my strength up to the level it was before i did my back in. It's a 4 day work out, but you train 3 days a week. Mon weds and friday.

    Monday
    Squat or box squat 2-3 x 5
    Glute/Ham Raises or pullthroughs 3 x 10
    Bent Row or Chest Supported row 4 x 6
    Barbell or Dumbbell Curl 3 x 8
    Calf Raises 3 x 15

    Wednesday
    Bench Press or low board press 3 x 5, or 3 x 3 Incline Dumbbell Bench Press 4 x 8 Military or Dumbbell Shoulder Press 3 x 8 Skull Crushers 3 x 10 Ab work 3 x 10

    Friday
    Deadlift or rack deadlift 2-3 x 5
    Leg press 2 x 10
    Chin or lat pull-down 4 x 6
    Barbell or Dumbbell Curl 3 x 8
    Calf Raises 3 x 15

    Monday
    Incline bench press or Incline Dumbbell Press 3 x 5, or 3 x 3 Dumbbell Bench Press 4 x 8 Military or Dumbbell Shoulder Press 3 x 8 Tricep pushdowns 3 x 10 Ab work 3 x 10

    that aint a bad workout im gonna try it out

    i am pretty fit now i train and compete amatuer soon to be semi pro i'm just looking for some really intense cardio
