if you won truly mega bucks, like 80 million, or even 500k, what sort of stuff you gonna do? get? buy? build? invest in? etc

my mate is obsessed with the lottery, its his dream, each week he'll remind us all of his plans when he wins the lottery.

his plans are to build a massive indoor cricket place, bigger than regular indoor cricket, and play proper matches there, with big screen tv's and instant replays etc. fair play to him he's told all his mates they can quit their jobs and he'll pay them a big wage for doing fuck all at that place. i hope he wins, lol.

personally if i won the mega bucks i'd invest half buying shares, land and about 10 houses outright that i'd rent to people keeping a massive income stream coming in weekly.

i'd start my own top of the range gym and fight team.
buy loads of houses around the world, loads of nice cars and just basically live a life of luxury. be able to just work casually in my own gym living off of the interest and investments.

oh and i'd open a couple of nightclubs, one big mainstream club and another more VIP, celeb type place.

Buy some houses and land, get a big house for me, buy a gym, build a recording studio. Train and play guitar all the time and have frequent trips to America.

Don't play the lottery, but WHEN I win a 6 figure poker tournament, I'm paying the mortgage off, sorting us out for cars, kitchen, garden, etc then it's just about a generally higher standard of life, rather than big extravagent buys.

Only when I've done all that and have sponsorship would I consider pulling out of mainstream employment and playing for a living again.

First thing i would do is buy a load of run down houses and fix them up to re sell/rent, make sure my mum never had to work again, then donate a cpl of million to the youth club i used to go to as a few years ago there main source of income the sports hall they rent out to people for 5 a side etc got badly damaged and is now un useable so that way they cld fix it up good n proper and start helping them self out again.

then obv the norm like a nice (not over the top) car/motorbike nice house with lots of land.

and i would open a top of the line training centre theres a brilliant building near me that would be great its got loads of space etc ahhh to dream

I would buy a massive plot and build a huge indoor skatepark for skateboarders only ! then id be charging all the skaters for a go on there wee emo birds !!! and id set up my own take away called the Untidy Kebab

lol at all those planning on plowing money into property in order to try get even richer...and in the middle of a global recession brought about by collapsing property markets no less!!
