Ahh ok, then again they've only been officially open for two days.

They really need to get their website sorted. People need to know what's on offer before they're likely to sign up.

It probably is true, it only opened yesterday and you can only pay by contract so five people is a realistic figure IMO bearing those facts in mind.

I popped in the other night on my way back from work, it's a very nice place but seems like they've tried way too hard with the marketing and hype, for what is effectively a basement gym with little space.

They've got decent gym equipment, usual treadmills, bikes etc (although only 2 of each) as well as resistance bands, squat racks, heavy bags, matted area for classes, kettlebells, med balls and a boxing ring.

The biggest downfall that I see is that membership is currently 95 a month with no joining fee. After this month, membership is 120 a month with a 350 (!!!!!) joining fee. The woman I spoke to also said that the membership fee will increase for new members each month until January - so I dread to think what the cost will be then.

I believe the BJJ coach is Leo Negao and Pete Irving is teaching the MMA classes so quality of the classes with be high - but with the size of the venue I think they'd struggle with more than 10-15 people there at a time.

If anyone's interested they are running free trials at the moment - get them while you can as I can't see this place lasting more than a few months!!
