Clash, Jam, Smiths etc also good Brit bands that would like to have seen
Guns n Roses (original line up)
I was too complacent about bands during the Manchester boom years for music. I had had the chance to see the following and never got round to it, thinking there would always be another time;
The Chameleons (although I finally saw then a couple of weeks ago but its not the same when the are in their 50s!)
I saw Stone Roses at Spike Island but wish I'd seen them at the earlier smaller venues like The International etc. Same goes for Oasis, only seen them at mega gigs, I passed on the opportunity to see them at the small venues.
Also wished I'd seen The Jam, Grateful Dead, Nirvana
Allan "No" Love
Pantera, had tickets but they cancelled cos of 9/11
Dio, had tickets but he cancelled cos of stomach cancer. Saw him singing with Heaven and Hell but I'd have loved to hear him do Dio and Rainbow stuff.
Sepultura with Max, saw them with Derrick and I've saw Soulfly but it's not the same.
Sublime and The Clash as well. Saw Joe Strummer with his band but that's it.
Helloween with Hansen and Kiske in the band. Saw them with Deris and that other guitarist but it's not the same.
That'll do for now.
I have seen Weller perform Jam songs though, and Morrissey with Smiths stuff also
Guns n Roses
Pink Floyd - I would do anything for a ticket if they did another live concert.
I'm a doctor in exercise the same way Dr Dre is in hip hop!
Tony Williams' Lifetime
Red Era King Crimson
Off the top of my head.
I am number 1, because Picard says so.
Do you know a Fridgeless Fail? Send them HERE!
Are Velvet Revolver still going? Cause Scott Weiland has been doing some stuff with his old band, Stone Temple Pilots (who I wish I had seen when they first came out)
